conducts cooking classes

In response to the request of
participants, The Royal Brunei Catering (RBC) conducted a Chinese
Cuisine Cooking Class yesterday at Amigos Café, Royal Brunei
Recreation Club. The class was attended by over 20 participants and
was conducted by a chef who specialises in Cantonese Cuisine, Chef
Lau Kin Foo.
Lau Kin Foo has served in many
restaurants prior to joining Royal Brunei Catering and being the
chef of Dynasty Restaurant, he takes pride in sharing three popular
recipes from the a la carte menu.
From cutting vegetables and
plucking feathers, as a kitchen helper some 15 years ago in his
hometown in Kota Kinabalu, he stir-fried, roasted and steamed his
way up to the current position he deservingly earned.
Assisting the presentation was the
Sales and Marketing Supervisor, Siti Nordiyawaja Kasuma bte Haji
Metusssin.
Chef Lau Kin Foo presented three
special dishes, namely Dynasty Three Combination Platter, Crispy
Chicken with Malat Sauce and Sautéed Prawns with Salted Eggs.
The next cooking class will be held
on June 6 and June 26 this year at the Amigos Café, Royal Brunei
Recreation Club, which will be conducted by Chef Sawai Saenphet and
Chef Chang Chee Khiong. --
