At the moment, only Gmail of GoogleTM offers I GB of free storage space to users worldwide.

"Beginning next month, users can enjoy 1 GB of storage for free and take comfort in the fact that Yahoo!

Yahoo! Mail also announced that it has expanded its powerful suite of security tools with virus cleaning for free, from Norton AntiVirusTM, in addition to the virus scanning already offered.
