Fairy queen, joker steal spotlight
at Costume Parade

Walking elegantly, young Nicole
Mercado who dressed up like a fairy queen won the female category
while joker Richard Fidres won the male category at the Costume Parade
Contest held yesterday afternoon at the Hua Ho Manggis Mall.
Ninja fighter Najrul Nazreen came in
second in the male category while soldier of fortune Mohd Irsyadol
Asyraf came in third.
Cowgirl Denise Elizabeth was second
in the female category while walking garden Suvindi Semini came in
third.
Organised
by Ideal Café & Grill's IKIDS Club in conjunction with the 60th
birthday celebrations of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of
Brunei Darussalam, the Costume Parade Contest was open to all children
aged three to 12 years old.
The contest was a side event at the
Family Lifestyle Expo 2006 organised by Sagemark Integrated Services
Sdn Bhd.
The objective of the contest was to
discover modelling talents in young children.
